Lechuna Heritage Lodge, Haa

The Haa Valley is the westernmost district and smallest district of Bhutan, comprised of around 60 villages. The valley offers wonderful scenic walks along pristine natural paths that are seldom used, beautiful villages and magnificent monasteries that are alive with culture and tradition.

Using our lodge as a base you can enjoy a different walk every day. Each is a different experience filled with interaction into the daily lives of locals living in this remote part of the world. On some walks you might stop at a local farmer's home for tea and a picnic lunch. There are endless opportunities for photographs.

Walking excursions in Haa are not physically demanding, usually last around five hours, and you return to the lodge in time for afternoon tea. This will leave you plenty of time to explore the village, visit local homes or temples, or enjoy a traditional stone bath.

Lechuna Heritage Lodge is an authentic, renovated Bhutanese farm house. The main building was the house of the owner's Grandmother. When he decided to convert it to a lodge, it was paramount for him to maintain all the charms of the village home, which he has deep memories of. We have done all we could to keep the experience real.
